I know he definitely was upset about it, especially because he had an obsession with image. First, he was going through a stage where he hated his acne and couldn't even look at himself in the mirror, so he turned the lots out when he went into the bathroom. Then I saw that, when he made an appearance at the 1985 or 86 grammies his skin was suddenly became lighter, and he looked nervous about returning there because he was just darker a few years back from that. So, he probably knew people were looking at him and judging him. Poeple are so ignorant to make fun of a skin disease that alot of people(blacks) or others deal with.
