What would be the PERFECT computer for me?

You're going to find a more powerful PC in desktop form, but there are laptops out there that are fairly powerful too. If you're doing a bunch of effects and other processor heavy stuff, I'd recommend a PC with a quad core processor and a very good sound card (Something like the Sound Blaster X-Fi). You'll probably have to add the sound card (I'd recommend the Platinum edition or at least one with the connection block)
