My internet explorers toolbar/ address bar will not stay activated?

My duck was jumping on my keyboard and I am not sure what he pressed before I got him off. But now my toolbar/ web address bar whatever you choose to call it will not stay down/ activated. If my mouse is not over it, the toolbar/ address bar goes back up where I cannot see it along with my task pane at the bottom of the screen. How do I get it back?
