I have a short reception-- what should the schedule be?

I'm getting married on a cruise ship, and the longest reception they offer is 1 1/2 hours long, so I did that one. (The reason is that not everyone is sailing so some people have to leave the port before the castoff) There is a champagne toast, cake, open bar, fancy snacks, but it is just so short! I really want to do a bouquet toss also. A garter not so much, but I guess you kind of have to :( Anyway, what is the order that events should take place? Particularly the champagne toast? There is a photographer also but the photos will be taken at the ceremony and of us as a couple after the reception, and so they shouldn't figure majorly in the timeline. I thought that the dancing could be last since people probably will mingle and eat more than dance, plus I have a pianist only.
